So, as unlikely as we all thought it was, revision has actually taken over my life and so this blog will mostly be pictures as there is literally nothing at all to report....
I made this Urban Outfitters inspired t-shirt dress myself. I bought a men's XXXL t-shirt off eBay for about £5 and bought the leopard material for about £2 and did a bit of creative cutting and sewing. The wool and fur trim coat is an eBay purchase and I quite like the contrast between the rock'n'roll dress and the romantic vintage coat. The boots are a pair I've had for years and are actually over the knee suede but I wear them slouched down. Not a hundred percent if I love them with this look but I went with it as hadn't worn them in probably over a year.
This is Pig. I loves Pig.
When procrastination was still my main priority, I had a bit of a dress up night... apologies for the blurryness of the photos, my fiance is a tool. And apologies for the state of my room, procrastination had not reached 'room cleaning' level yet.
So this is an Egyptian hippy look. The black velvet with pearl detail bralet is from eBay, along with the tie dye skirt. Neither cost more than a tenner. The gold and black waterfall cardigan was from a charity shop but is originally from ASDA.
I love my new dress off eBay. It's exactly what I've been looking for. So 70s secretary. The belt is a vintage one from years ago... probably stolen from the Mother. The hat is from Dorothy Perkins sale and I wore grey socks with my boots to finish the look off.
This is one of my favourite outfits for the summer ahead, which is surprising as I'm really not a 'pastels' kind of gal. The silk skirt was in H&M sale and I just love the pattern on it. The floral slip ons are from New Look, the hat from a charity shop (love it but have a feeling that it's not going to stay on with any sort of windy weather) and the crop jumper with heart detail is from a shop called 'Storm' but I think these are all over eBay.
The boy wanted to get on with his work so this was the last outfit I put together. The 60s/70s pattern dress was in a charity shop but was originally Primark an I love it so much. I adore blue/purple and orange together, such a contrasting combination. The cardigan is charity shop, the brown hat is from Peacocks, the gold panther belt is from River Island and the boots are from Primark and are amazingly comfortable.
So now it's back to revision. The exam is on Friday and then at the weekend the boy and I are going down to Watford for a THREE HOUR chocolate making course (majorly excited) and then Legoland (again, majorly excited) and then to visit my sister and friend in bristol (guess what? Majorly excited!) so probably won't be posting anything until Wednesday but it'll be a massive one. Have a good weekend guys! Peace out.
great outfits! and to think they all came from eBay stores! think I might have to start browsing eBay more often!! :) <3
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend it! It's on par with charity shops for bargains :)
