On the plus side, procrastination means that I've been mixing and matching my clothes in ways that I haven't before. I'm quite cautious usually when mixing prints and patterns but I've decided to grab the bull by the horns and just go for it.
This is an outfit I wore yesterday to teach my singing students. I'm not very blind at all but when I haven't worn my glasses for a while, I get headaches so these bad boys have made a comeback. They were bought off eBay for a fiver and then I put my prescription in them. The shirt is from a charity shop and is massively over sized but I love the ethnic/tribal design. The jacket is also a charity shop find and the broach is a gift from my Mother. The cord skirt is from a shop in France and I have just had my battered Primark brown boot resoled and so I will be wearing them a lot again! The necklace was a Christmas present from Austin and was purchased at Oh! You Pretty Things. This shop sells some amazing, unique jewellery and accessories, definitely worth a check out.
Close up of the mega specs! And the broach, necklace and I forgot to mention the silver collar tips (I stole them from Austin but I believe he purchased them off eBay).
I decided again to try and mix and match patterns today and so went with some tribal trousers and an aztec crop top (both from eBay) and to blend them in together nicely, I wore my black blazer.
I ended up wearing this little ensemble today though to go and book my tattoo. I haven't worn my ASOS boots in ages (generally because they have a slight heel and I think I'm tall enough already) but I thought they really teamed well with this outfit. The black dress was from eBay for about £2 and the snake skin over sized shirt was a charity shop bargain at 99p. The belt, like most of mine, were stolen either from my mother or grandmother.
I shall probably procrastinate some more by putting more outfits together and putting pictures up tomorrow... but for now, I shall get back to Facebook, I mean, revision.
Your pants look super amazing!
